A very strong sign. Must have taken some metaphorical balls to walk with that. Well done Lady.

Fuck yes.
Brilliant! I love how it turns it around on the assaulter. (Is that a word?)

Rape culture is telling girls and women to be careful about what you wear, how you wear it, how you carry yourself, where you walk, when you walk there, with whom you walk, whom you trust, what you do, where you do it, with whom you do it, what you drink, how much you drink, whether you make eye contact, if you’re alone, if you’re with a stranger, if you’re in a group, if you’re in a group of strangers, if it’s dark, if the area is unfamiliar, if you’re carrying something, how you carry it, what kind of shoes you’re wearing in case you have to run, what kind of purse you carry, what jewelry you wear, what time it is, what street it is, what environment it is, how many people you sleep with, what kind of people you sleep with, who your friends are, to whom you give your number, who’s around when the delivery guy comes, to get an apartment where you can see who’s at the door before they can see you, to check before you open the door to the delivery guy, to own a dog or a dog-sound-making machine, to get a roommate, to take self-defense, to always be alert always pay attention always watch your back always be aware of your surroundings and never let your guard down for a moment lest you be sexually assaulted and if you are and didn’t follow all the rules it’s your fault.
I really hate the culture we’ve developed where we don’t teach ‘Don’t rape’ but ‘Don’t get raped’ so if you do end up that unfortunate it’s obviously your fault. Also the myth that men can’t be raped or abused. It’s a load of bull.
I might just copy and paste this so I can have this perfect answer ready when people say things like “but how does this “rape culture” actually affect women?” (via fuckyeahclare)

Yay for Poly! Though it’s really hard to sleep like that. After a bit of cuddling we all disperse to our section of the bed. Beware of roaming elbows in the night during your first three-in-a-bed sleeping experience.

Not a huge MCR fan but I love this.
Okay so I’m not a hard core MCR fan but some of their music is coolsauce.
But…woah.

I utterly adore this film. I watched it completely by accident when I was about 15 and it’s stayed with me ever since.

I love seeing older people show their opinions like this. Too often it’s assumed that people hold the pre-requisite up tight opinions of their generation.
